Gigabyte introduces T1006M netvertible

Netvertible or convertible netbooks have been around for some time. They did not exactly catch fire in the netbook market. But some companies have continued making them. They are niche products at best. The Gigabyte T1006M tablet/netbook has a 1366 x 768 pixels display and comes with USB 3.0 on-board. The device will have a 3.5G modem too. Considering that tablets such as ASUS Transformer Prime can already act as a laptop, it will be interesting to see how well this netvertible does.

Razer’s Project Fiona To Be Revealed at CES?

ASUS Eee PC Flare Leaked?

ASUS is bringing new netbooks to CES. These netbooks will have AMD and Intel processors inside. The Eee PC Flare line is going to replace the Seashell line. The Intel ones will have N2600 and N2800 ATOM processors inside. A 12 inch netbook with AMD Fusion technology is also on the way. ASUS is one of few netbook makers that will continue offering new products for the time being. It will be interesting to see how successful these devices will be.

 

Acer Aspire One D270 with Cedar Trail Coming

We don’t expect too many new netbook models this year. But there will be enough of them for netbook fans to choose from. The Acer Aspire One D270 is a 10.1 inch netbook with 1.6GHz Atom N2600 processor and 1GB of RA. A 320 GB of hard drive storage is included. The device has a dual core processor and a 400MHz embedded graphics core. The device will launch in mid-January 2012.
