Libretto W100: Laptop, Netbook, or Tablet?

Tablets and smart-books are all decent challengers to netbooks. But it’s those hybrid devices (such as iPad) that netbook makers need to worry about the most. Toshiba Libretto W100 is one of those devices. Toshiba may have some of the best laptops and netbooks on the market. But that hasn’t stopped the company from coming up with a hybrid device to challenge devices such as iPad head on. Libretto W100 has dual 7 inch screens and features a 1.2 GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM, a 62 GB SSD hard drive. It is very portable and runs Windows 7.

Here are more details on W100′s features:

  • Intel® Pentium® Processor U5400
  • Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium (32-bit)
  • Dual 7.0″ widescreens
  • 2GB DDR3 800MHz memory
  • 62GB Solid State Drive (Serial ATA, SSD)
  • Intel® Integrated Graphics

You can further customize this laptop if you decide to pick it up from Toshiba. Libretto W100 is a pretty attractive device and will have its fans. It won’t beat Apple iPad though. It’s too pricey to pull that feat off ($1100).
