Kid Friendly Netbooks On The Rise

Netbooks may be a dream come true for business individuals but that hasn’t stopped manufacturers from targeting other segments of this hot market. The Netbook market is one of the hottest niches around today, and there is a lot of room for innovation and differentiation. That’s why kid friendly netbooks make a whole lot of sense, at least to Asus and Disney. The two companies have joined hand to develop a Disney-themed notebook for young children. Netpal, which will be available on Toys R Us and Amazon later this year, is not your ordinary notebook for kids. It comes with everything your kids will need to play games, consume content, and learn new things.

The device will cost you $350 but it comes with a solid build. The keyboard is spill proof and comes with Asus anti-shock technology. Parents also have access to parental controls to make sure their kids don’t gain access to inappropriate information.

The kid friendly netbook market may not be huge at this point, but there is a lot of room to grow for companies that are willing to provide parents with a tough machine that provides more learning and entertainment opportunities for their young children. We are well into the Internet era, and what better toy than an Internet device such as Netpal.
