A lot of netbook manufacturers spend a lot of time working on their devices’ power and performance. But HP seems to have find its niche Vivienne Tam Netbooks. Many people use their netbooks as an ultra portable laptop to get their work done on the go. But with a tiny, shiny device such as a netbook, the opportunity is always there to give it a fashion angle. While the first generation Vivienne HP netbook was too expensive, it did look attractive, and maybe that’s why the sales results were more than what HP expected.
The 2nd generation Vivienne HP netbook’s design is based on Chinese “Butterfly Love.” It’s a very attractive design that will make this device a hit with the female segment of the market. It’s still not known how high the price will be. One would hope that HP will keep the prices reasonable, though there is no question there will be a premium to be paid for this device.
HP Vivienne Tam Netbook 2G certainly has the looks, but will it have the goods? Watch this space for more information on this exciting netbook.
Your take: would you pay a 20-30% premium on fashion netbooks such as HP Vivienne?
