Asus has just released more details on two of its upcoming netbooks. Asus Eee PC 1015P, 1015PE both take advantage of N450 ATOM processor and feature a 10.1-inch backlit-LED WSVGA display (1,024 x 600 resolution). The webcams included on this netbooks are not something you want to write home about (only 0.3 mp in resolution). These netbooks do come with Eee web storage and can last you as long as 13.5 hours per charge (depending on your battery and how you use these).
Here is a summary of what’s included in these netbooks:
What’s disappointing about these netbooks is the fact that they have Windows 7 starter on board. That means you will have to spend on an operating system or switch to an open source one to get the most out of your netbook. It’d be also nice if all netbooks came with 2 GB RAM instead of 1 GB, which is less than minimal.
There is no word on how these netbooks will be priced, but if the past stands for anything, these netbooks should be in $350-$400 range.
