We are only a day away from Apple’s supposed big announcement about its latest “creation.” Apple has been teasing us with the idea of a netbook and then a tablet for the past few months. We all know that Apple wouldn’t take a chance with the netbook brand, so it all comes down to how powerful Apple’s tablet is and whether it’s capable of challenging netbooks and slim laptops on the market. From the rumors going around, Apple tablet is going to be a large iPod Touch capable of taking advantage of Apple’s apps. It’s also expected to be a device capable of handling e-books as well.

So Apple is planning to get the best of all worlds. Netbook fans may not get a cheap Apple notebook to play with, but they can get their hands on a touch-sensitive Apple tablet that could make life easier on the road (whether you are out for business or entertainment). At this point, the price is going to be a big issue. Let’s not forget that we are still in a recession and paying $1000 for a tablet may not be the best way to spend your money. It’ll also be interesting to see how long the battery lasts. Can it truly run for a double digit number of hours? I guess we will find out tomorrow.
